Volume Booster does not collect, track, or send any of your data. Everything stays on your device.

What We Collect

Volume Booster does not collect any personal information, browsing history, or usage data. No analytics. No accounts. No sign-ups.

What We Store Locally

Your volume level per tab. Saved locally on your device using chrome.storage.local.

This data never leaves your device. It is not sent to any server, and we have no way to access it.

Why We Need Each Permission

Volume Booster only asks for the permissions it needs to work. Here is what each one does:

activeTab

Access the current tab's audio when you click the extension icon.

scripting

Inject the audio boost script into the current tab to make it louder.

storage

Save your volume level so it stays when you reopen the popup.

Third-Party Services

Volume Booster does not connect to any external servers, analytics tools, or advertising networks. It works fully offline after you install it.
