Page Marker Privacy Policy

Page Marker does not collect, track, or send any of your data. Everything stays on your device.

What We Collect

Nothing.

Page Marker does not collect any personal information, browsing history, or usage data. No analytics. No accounts. No sign-ups.

What We Store Locally

Your highlighted text, its position on the page, and the page URL. Saved locally on your device using chrome.storage.local.

This data never leaves your device. It is not sent to any server, and we have no way to access it.

Why We Need Each Permission

Page Marker only asks for the permissions it needs to work. Here is what each one does:

storage

Save your highlights so they show up again when you revisit a page.

Host permissions (all URLs)

The highlight script needs to run on any page you visit so saved highlights can appear.

Third-Party Services

Page Marker does not connect to any external servers, analytics tools, or advertising networks. It works fully offline after you install it.

Policy Updates

If we change this policy, we will update this page. The date at the bottom shows when it was last updated.
